Colleen Akin riding Pumpkin Spice
Colleen Akin is the owner, rider & trainer of Pumpkin Spice a 2020 KWPN mare by Gaudi out of Desire bred by Dutch Central Stables, that she purchased at just one week old. Currently Pumpkin is being trained with the philosophy of overall fitness and cross training much influenced by Ingrid’s young horse training. Colleen plans to show Pumpkin at local dressage and breed shows this coming year. She is very excited for the opportunity to kick off this year working with Ingrid!
Colleen is a USDF Bronze & Silver Medalist as well as a Shinning Star Sportsmanship award recipient. As a Young Rider she was dedicated to the sport of dressage and worked with many trainers to influence her training philosophies including Danielle Akin-Sintoni, Vicki Hammers-O’Neil & Lendon Gray.
Colleen currently resides in Bellville, TX. She is originally from Connecticut and is a Texas transplant for her full time career with Houston Methodist in the field of Sports Medicine. She continues to share her passion for dressage through Equitation Clinics, training of her personal horse and perusing the USDF L program for judges.

Nola is a 2018 17.1 hand Dutch mare by the Danish stallion Bonds out of a Rhodium/Jazz mare. She was bred by Mary Nuttall and has been owned by Susan Lane since she was a yearling. Nola had some stops and starts in her training since she was a 3 year old year due to PSSM, which is currently being managed by strict dietary changes and continued body work. Last year she was shown through first level and finished the year as Reserve Champion in the SWDC Training Level Open Championships. We continue to work on making her more elastic and adjustable over her topline as we look to develop her up the levels!

Sarah Fulton Smith riding Westeros
Westeros WOR "Wes" (Wamberto/ Rosenthal/ Wolkentanz) is a 2014 Oldenburg GOV gelding that was bred by my mother in Texas and has been exclusively trained by me. He is one of the most talented, trainable, and willing horses that I have had the pleasure to work with (with just the right amount of sass). He is currently showing 3rd level and schooling 4th level. We are finishing the changes and building up his strength for more expressive movement. He has potential for Grand Prix dressage and my goal is to train him to GP and compete with him nationally and in CDIs. He has a real gift for collection in canter and a nice elasticity and swing to his trot work. I've had two kids since he has been with me, so we have been taking our time in the training while balancing reality! I integrate a lot of variety into my horses' dressage training program, particularly trail riding/ hacking out in the open, cavaletti, and long lining. I am a USDF bronze medalist, have successfully competed through 4th level, and trained horses to FEI levels.
